Our engineer/designers assist clients in the
initial conceptualization and design of their
concepts. We have several industrial design
engineers specializing in various fields. Each has
been responsible for designing national and
international products that have successfully
reached the marketplace. These designers have all
been with Fortune 500 companies and/or major
universities. They use their expertise in "design
for manufacture" to make a concept as efficient
and cost-effective as possible. Our client is then
provided with two different concepts in full
color. These illustrations normally have numerous
applications including prototype,
direction/construction, market research, and
concept presentation invertors and potential
licensces.
Final Design & Manufacturing Feasibility
An engineer should be commissioned to assist you
in the final design for manufacture. Appropriate
design modifications resulting from any market
research should be incorporated into the product
design, if economically feasible. This process
will address any "manufacturing feasibility"
concerns raised by prospective licensees, help in
the bidding/negotiations with potential
manufacturers, and aid the patent attorney in the
patent preparation.
Engineering, Prototyping, and Manufacturing
Costs
In this phase, we need to determine the basic
issue of total manufacturing and prototyping
costs. An authority in your industry needs to
assist in determining the best manufacturing
methodology and provide you with the costs for
tooling and building your concept. We deal with a
diverse group of industrial design engineers and
manufacturing specialists with expertise in
various fields. It has been our experience that
unless this information is readily available to
potential licensees and/or investors, negotiations
bog down until it can be provided. This data must
be available in order to make appropriate
financial projections. |
