For many people, the garage is as much a part of their house as their living room. This Intellivent Ventilation and security garage door can make their time in the garage even more enjoyable and safe. It functions just like a regular garage door, but each frame of the door has a louver that can be opened from the inside to allow ventilation. The louver frame holds a screen, which can be anything from a welded-wire security screen to a lightweight insect screen. The brace that holds the louver open folds out of the way when the louver is closed, and locks to the inside of the garage door to create a secure and weatherproof closure. Entire garage doors can be made from these panels, or the doors can be made up of a combination of louvered panels, solid panels, or window panels, and the trim can be painted to match the existing house trim.
