Step 5: Prototype

Product Model and Manufacturing Cost:  A basic issue that must be addressed is, “How much does it cost to product?”.  To determine this, a model and/or animation of the invention is helpful to determine the tooling and manufacturing costs.  Experts in the industry will be able to provide this data with appropriate input.  Our experience has been that unless this information is readily available to a potential investor, manufacture, strategic partner and/or licensee, the negotiations bog down until it can be provided.
